I always like to get some advice from more seasoned growers on the harvest. Could this go another 2 weeks? I'm not a fan of cutting them a little bit early. I always go for fully matured ripe buds. She looks ripe but from my experience they can be deceiving at the last 2 weeks for us novices/intermediate growers. IMG_20210228_101025_3.jpg

Damn. Well to answer your question, that plant could definitely go longer. I'd reconvene in 2-3 weeks.
Awesome mate thanks for that. I'm not too bothered by them. They're Pretty easy to get off once the buds dry. The joys of outdoor growing.

Yeah I'll probably give them a dunk in some fresh water after I cut them. I'm just a little worried some of the terpines might be lost from doing so though
You won't lose anything important. I wash everything from outside and have checked.

The trichomes aren't water soluble. That's why making bubble hash works... Now that's not to say that you won't lose any trichomes from washing the bud... You will. Just not much.
To check (one day during harvest, while having an argument about this subject) I decided to run all the wash water from washing 8-10 pounds of Sour Banana Sherbet, through my bubble bags.

The 220 and 190 gave a good visual indication as to why you should wash outdoor stuff... Ewwwww little bugs, that aren't going to be smoked into your lungs. But the 45 bag did have a nice little pile of trichomes in it. Emphasis on little. After all that material was washed it amounted to around three grams.... So there is no real loss to be concerned about. And if you just dump all the wash water through bubble bags you will get it all back anyway.
Good luck friend!

Yeah thanks for the information. Because the yeild won't be much it's probably worth doing considering all the bugs I can spot on it.
