It's about the super green almost ready to chop down plants, to not have chemical weed, days ago and in another thread I suggested him to water 2-3 times with only water and fulvic acid, to help mop up and clense his plant of excess shit, then few clean waterings/flush at the end before harvest. This is where the fulvic talk came from... Or don't do it..LOL.. I don't care anymore.. bro!!! just fuck it. :joint:
(he didn't listen anyway.)

Yes I have read along. What you suggested would not help unless the plant and medium were working together properly. Fulvic would not help "clean up the soil" in any case. this is the mis information.

Sorry if you feel I am wrong. I re read about it just to re affirm my knowledge before posting.

Please don't tell me I learn from this rediculous indoor gardening industry though. It is quite obvious I don't.

Sometimes the industry articles have good explanations though.

Thank you. I only try to pass along advice that helped me along the way. I have made all the mistakes like the rest of us. ;-)
It's funny because every time I see you've answered. I'm usually just reading at that point..lol

I've never seen you steer anyone wrong yet .....such a simple relaxing hobby ((WHEN)) new comers have a good mentor ((OR)) get advice from the rite people ......I'm not saying there's no use for advanced techniques .......but I myself am a soil grower for many many years ....I use to over complicate my grows with negative results ....of course being young I thought I could out grow my mentor ((lol)) ....I like to keep things clean and simple ....it helps having many seasons under my belt ....but the funny thing is....I found myself doing less and less and getting more and more out of my grows as time went on....imagine that......I've grown amazing plants with just the FFOF soil and the big three........I'm an advocate for the KISS method for sure.

Always a pleasure reading your advice.

It is not misinformation. We disagree. Fine.

no worries.

Just my 2 cents after reading through ....like others have said already ...it looks like your overwatering and feeding them to much ......the one pic looks like you reacted to a bit of yellow by slamming them with N ....easy to tell by your new growth.....also, there's no need to adjust PH in ffof ..or any good soil for that matter ...it will buffer itself ....I think taking the advice of good watering habits and dialing back the N a good bit ..will get you headed in the rite direction ....this is how we learn ...I would also suggest you start a personal grow journal and write everything down .....with some antiques called a notebook and a pencil o_O......it will help you down the road ....GL

You would laugh if you saw my growroom desk. It has stacks of post it notes for each individual plant and every input and runoff ec and other pertinent info.

I make a new note each time and put it on that plants stack of notes.

You said it was a binding and clearing agent for soil.

Thats what humic does. And while humic products contain fulvic. It isnt the other way around.
The roots and the excess nutrients stores in the leaves yes, Fulvic will get in there between the cells and chelate everything for use by the plant or expelling excess. Fulvic will 'clense' the soil and plant tissue, YES.

Humic is not great for this purpose to clense a plant before harvest or super green overfed plants because it stays in the soil, exchanges cations with roots, bonds with soil, makes structure, feeds and nurishes microbes.. etc.. Fulvic small molecule gets right in everywhere roots and leaves and goes deep chelating all minerals and mopping up excess.. which near the end will make his super green plants go pale much quicker than clean water and bigger buds and cleaner healthier smoke.

(Using fulvic acid with just water and watering plants with it is not a "Advanced Technique") :)

I never said either would help in this case.

And I did say that in a healthy Grow it can be used as an advanced technique.

Well, if I see some plants about to be harvested that are deep dark green again, I will still always recommend using fulvic acid in the water to help as emegency clense for plants to get rid of or put to use the excess, and for a healthier mineral rich clean end product. Fulvic acid is the magic molecule. :joint:

LOL....My desk at home has tons of papers with what appear to be football plays drawn out .....squares and X's with tons of circles ...each with there own little side note LOL....I got clever several years back and drew up a single paper ((master copy)).....then proceeded to make a shit load of copies ....now I just grab a copy and scribble my info on it ...beats the hell out of drawing a new one each time .....so I feel you on that ....sure is nice when I have it to refer back to .....it's easy to forget what had been done to what sometimes ....nothing a quick scribble note can't fix....lol

I do not own meters like that, a scale of 2 &7? Moisture rating?.
I may have worded that badly. Look closely at the picture of the meters in the soil if it is clear enough to see. Both have a scale of 1-10.
One reads 2 on a scale 1-10 one reads 7.
The whole scenario may or may not be useful. Still haven't received an opinion from an experienced soil grower.
I know it was over the head of the person I showed it to a couple of days ago as I think the other person wanted to relax and enjoy growing. Nothing wrong with that, I take it by your posts you have more desire to get it right. You will spend years revisiting the way you water in soil and your opinions will change over time.

(Buba Blend, I see only 2empty boxes with red X's at the bottom of your post where 2 pictures should be, just letting you know, but plant pic loaded up.)

I do not know if this helps but I have a 2 prong soil meter (cheap ) that measures moisture. Light and ph (supposedly) and I water when the probe is 3/4 the way down the pot and reads almost all the way dry.

It has to be pinned to the bottom of the scale before the plants wilt from underwatering.

The pots feel tippy and alarmingly dry by this time. About 3 days for mature flowers in 3 gal pots under 2 600's.

I started using popsicle sticks. Write a note on the stick put it in the pot. I have a bunch ready to reuse with various notes on them like C=curled leaves p= praying to the lights. T= thirsty D - droopy F = leaves are flat.
@Johnei thanks!
Did these two pictures load?

personally

im not a fan of the fox farm nutes

the soil is good but the nutes are incomplete... containing zero calcium and little to no magnesium\\

the soil is great but the first thing to go out on the soil is calcium and magnesium... and the fertilizer hasn't got it so........

in my opinion youd be better off with GH floragrow and floranova... they are simple and complete and balanced and the mixing instructions are on par

ok I browsed you journal

theres not enough info on your nutes to be helpful

that's where you problem lies... I believe your fertilizier is out

youll need to list the npk % amounts for the fertilizers your using

then I will also need the calcium and magnesium % amounts for each
and I need to know the iron and where the micros nutes are

it might be easier to post pics of the labels that list the % info and what its derived from if it says
