I've got problems. This is the first year that I've experienced such insane problems.the first 4 plants were demolished by wild hogs. I have had to deal with pigs before but the real problem I need help with is what is in the pictures below. I put these plants outdoors guerilla style three days ago. Checked on them today and found this. My soil is a tried and true mix I've used for years. I think I may have put the plants into too direct sunlight too early I thought I had them in spots that didn't get too much but they actually may get a few hours of direct sunlight a day. Hmm what else.. I'm not sure please do ask questions to find out more about what I'm doing to help me diagnose. I vegged them indoors for 2 weeks under floros.

A debilitating bug problem in three days? Eh not so likely. I'm in a subtropical climate but humidity hasn't been bad and won't get bad till august. It's been sunny and 75-85 for the past three weeks. Only a few clouds in the sky everyday. We get about 340/365 sunny days a year here.

Also all plants were in different areas so likely hood of bugs is very small. I have had problems with bugs one time in 7 years growing here. It was spider mites that got me in 2012 even them it took two weeks to get ahold of my plants

They were to be transplanted into final 20 gallon pots today but not anymore. I still have 16 more plants vegging indoors waiting to go out but I need to find out what caused this before they go out

Do you harden them before you put them outside? Whenever I do outdoors I have to ease them into the outdoors before I leave them out for good. Hope you figure it out good luck

This may be the problem. I'm in a place where I can adjust them. I have to put them right out to the final spot. I usually put them in the shade for the first few days but i think they may have been in a spot that gets more sun than I thought.I wonder if this is the problem. It's been extremely nice out here. And man they just aren't handling it at all...

That could def be it. I would leave mine out side in direct light for about an hour tops the first day, any longer and I notice stress, and I live in the northeastern united states. If those go out their first day and hit 3 hours of sun in your sub tropic environment I would say they wouldn't like it. Put them in shade for sure at first, maybe try to find a spot where they will get hit with indirect sun for a couple days , then a little direct sun with mostly indirect for a couple days, then they should be good to go I would think.... These plants adjust pretty dam fast IME. good luck

Thanks brother great advice. Yeah man this is the first yeat I've runnlearned into this problem. I thinkbi misjudged the amount of sunlight they get I think it's over three hours. They definately aren't liking it coming from one spectrum that isn't even a fraction of the intensity of the sun here
