I've been busted

Why not tell the police he was in it with you? Give them details that shows he was an elebarate part of your grow. You can do this with receipts, witnesses, phone calls, find out who he got in a fight with and ask them if they "overheard" him talking about his huge grow, ect...

If you are going down, take him with you. Would be easy, especially if he has an alcohol related charge against him.

Bummer man. Hope everything works out for you. This is precisely why you tell NO ONE you are growing. That includes girlfriend, wife, family, best friend, ANYONE. If you live with someone and have no choice but to tell them - then don't grow. I'm single, live alone, and haven't told anyone I am growing. Security first. Best of luck to you.

Both my GF and I told the "strikeforce" he was involved. They didn't care. His mother works for the local sheriff.

Never ceases to amaze me the things people say. Most people who smoke pot talk about Karma, and about peace and love and unity .....
I smoke pot. I also believe in karma, peace, love, unity and fuzzy bunnies. But if anyone ratted me out to the po-po, causing me to have to fight a felony charge and possibly end up in a prison term, I can guaran-damn-tee you that once all the dust had settled out and enough time had gone by I would pay a secret visit one night to that rat-bastard and take my pound of flesh.

I fully agree with each of us being responsible for our own actions. That means if you decide to be a rat-bastard and help put someone in prison for a malum prohibitum crime, you should expect for some karmic payback. Personally, I like to ensure that said karmic payback occurs in this life and not the next.

So preach on about peace, love and self-responsibility. I'll amen right along with the rest of the crowd. But don't expect all of us to be tree-hugging pacifistic ankle-grabbing hippies. Some of us believe in meting out violence in payment for wrongs done us.

And to the OP, sorry about what happened to you. Get a good lawyer. Don't talk to anyone but him. And if, after the state has had its way with you, you think a bit of payback is in order, make sure you have an alibi for your whereabouts and that the drunk bastard can not say for sure that you were the one that visited him.

Have a job interview tomorrow. I've decided to just tell the interviewer the whole story and hope. I think its better than having to explain about court a couple months from now.

Man do I know how you feel..A few years ago a family member turned me in while in a heated argument. Was going to be hired as a state employee when they came accross my pending case. Lost the job and now I wait for a routine background check that's done every five years. Got about a year left until company finds out about this mess. Plan on moving to a friendlier MJ state like Colorado or California. Sending out a prayer your way bro.

It really is a tell-no-one deal. I have to move my plants soon because everyone and their mother knows I'm growing here. Growing is a thing you do secretly at your house in a place where people don't visit, you know. It's hard if you live in an apartment or with other people, impossible I often recommend. If you're willing to grow you also have to be willing to suffer the consequences of it like everything else in life, right? Always hope it doesn't come to that, but I might have an idea for you. A couple years ago a man (not a friend for sure) wanted to join the police force, but he had once gone to jail for stealing a car so many years in the past. he couldn't join because he did that. He went to a lawyer to help him figure it out and the lawyer asked for $30,000 to fix his problem. The guy got money from his friends and family and gave it to the lawyer, the next week -that record was cleaner than rubbing alcohol. So, what am I saying? -Find a lawyer and find a will to change your issue.

Ya, that is sweet satisfaction in a fantasy. But in reality you'll only get another charge and it would look REAL bad for you in court if you beat up a witness.
wouldn't be to bad if the witness couldn't walk or talk. when you beat someones ass down, you gotta do it right or don't do it at all:hump:

update... My court date has been bumped to Dec. 3rd. I'm going to arbitration to save my job, but that could take up to 3 months to resolve. My family and I are staying at my GFs parents. That makes 8 people in a 1 bedroom house. I have been applying at places including temp services, but nothing offered yet. My ex just called wondering where her child support is. FFF!!! In this state they take your drivers liscense if you dont pay ur child support. I currently pay her about $150 a week. I now have no health insurance and think I have strep throat.. great.
that's retarded, how you suppose to get to work if they take your dl?

No warrants needed, the property owner called the cops.

To the OP...be sure to tell the judge your landlord had agreed to the grow for a cut of the profit...help get that karma truck rollin..best of luck.
I agree with this. Take his ass down with you but, make sure you do it properly and not in a finger-pointing sort of way.
