also cutting out calmag+ out of the equation...i just learned how to read a label today and it says that gro already has calcium and magnesium and i think thats what was creating alot of my lockout proplems...

edit: and bloom has it...so there is really no need for it...and its the "+" means "+chemicals"

For the clone issues, for the first few days, at least i keep white paper or a thin white towel over my bio dome, helps out alot, less stress for them with the in direct light. not sure what media you use or solution, i always use jiffy cubes and dip and grow, works 100% eveything time, i almost never lose clones. spray them a few times a day and every few days flood the tray to wet the cubes. hope this helps, i was having to same problems the first few trys.

thanks for the great advice!!! ya the paper towel idea worked for when i did some seeds back before i discovered clones :) this time around...i took the cuttings and did the final cut underwaterand dipped in gel, placed in rapid rooters, and pinched off a tiny piece of the rooter plug and placed by the base of the stem to cover up the excess hole. for the first couple of days, i sprayed them very lightly with ph'd water and have kept lots of humidity. now i'm just keeping the plugs slightly moist by spraying them with ph'd water at the top of the plug...only 2 have sort of tilted over a little bit...THIS IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE FOR ME!!! i'm gonna build an aero cloner in the near future and hopefully that will fix my cloning issues :)

i'm doin an update tonight w/ pcs of my pretty buds :) gettin close! i'm thinkin i'll start flush in a week!

got some decent shots.

end of week 6. one of the grapefruits is showing some crazy deficiency...i really think i was having trouble with keeping the pH right, which led to lockouts...2 dif times! i think next round, i'll have a better handle on things in this organic world.

also, i will be able to knock out the PM problem a lil sooner, cuz right now it comes and goes...the weather is doin some crazy shit out in my area the past few weeks and i htink that may be contributing to spreading the problem...

enjoi!!

leave some love

day 53 of flowering (since day 1 of 12/12)....i'm cutting down my bubble gum. only one plant is worth saving...the other 2 are caked with PM...i thought it was something that would fight itself off long enough to get through flowering but it just got worse and worse... i attaced the PM too late...i will not make this mistake again... i'm cuttin the one that reacted to the treatments positively and harvesting it tonight...i've given it one real good flush with water about 4 days ago and gave it clearex dosage last night and frequently throughout the day and i'm just gonna chop her down and see how she turned out...

Pretty nice grow,
Just a bit of advice tho, next time try amending the soil with dolomitic lime, this will keep the ph in check. FFOF is notorious for fluxuation ph, and showing signs of cal/mag def. The change is due to the organics breaking down and making the soil more acidic.
