It's hell for a plant to have a newbie for a parent.

When do hermies start to show? Can they change at any time? What kind of stress is the worst for getting them to flip? My plants have been stressed so many time for so many reasons and now I'm three weeks into flowering and the flowers are so close together I can't see a thing. It's hell for a plant to have a newbie for a parent. Thanks in advance, HH

Yes, I'm 3 weeks into flowering and on most plants they're everywhere (node areas). Lots of little puff balls showing up every where. The top of the main colas have a new set every day. Thanks in advance, HH

honestly. i stressed out my plants the first time SOO much, and they were fine. I mean anything you can 'over do' we did. we fucked their world up! im suprised they even lived. and you wanna know the funny thing, i think that was the best smoke ive had yet. it did look a little fluffy, like the buds werent dense, but it was awesome. if you have little ball clusters and hairs together, then you'll know.

Thanks man! Is this during the vegatation stage or the flowering stage? Or, do I just stress them whenever?:blsmoke:

I had to post and say I have practically killed my plants several times. I am on my first grow and keep making mistake after mistake. I have just about killed them with nutes, starved them with not enough, I am constantly overwatering (I Think), putting the light too close, letting them get too hot. I have made a mess out of them. At one point I was so scared of burning them up with nutes I was giving them 1/4 strength even after two months. They almost died and then someone here said "don't be afraid to give your plants nutes" I did and my oldest plant took off. Now, I have five going and they have leaves curling up length wise. I have an hps 250. My oldest plant is in a soiless mix of 50 percent peat moss and 25/25 verm and per. It depends on me for all it's nutes. Basically, I am on the verge of just giving up. My oldest plant is like three months old and only about ten inches high. My others are almost two months old and still in the 4 to 6 inch range. Talk about stressing plants, I have done it. I have a timer coming and I am putting these things in flower no matter how small they are. Then, I will shut it down, pack my new 250 hps and various other things in a box and call it quits until I have a proper room to grow in with proper ventilation and everything I need to do it right. Now, if I flower and my miserable plants triple in size and end up giving me an ounce of bud, I will change my mind and start on a new crop, but the way it's been so far, my luck doesn't look like it will change. I have dropped them, transplanted them, got one rootbound because I didn't transplant it from a cup soon enough. I have soil all over my closet floor, it's just been a nightmare.

Better luck to you.

I stressed the shit out of em the whole time. Cuz once the damage is done, its done! not saying its a good thing, but shit happens. know what I mean?? Plus you're learning still. I learn new stuff everyday.
