And as far a states go, CA tops all 50 in corporate taxes and has, for at least the past few years, IIRC, has been rated #1 of the most "business hostile" states...yet we're hurting in a big way to increase tax revenue.
Note the corresponding population decrease in California, and included in that are the businesses. They are fleeing like it's the plague.

Japan recently lowered their corporate tax rates, we now fill the #1 spot in that regard.
not effectively.

effectively, we have one of the lowest :dunce:

when you make statements like that, you should add this to the end: #purposelytryingtoblurthetruth

The reason the tea party were dismissed early was the fact it was a real "people" movement. The reason they are now called tea baggers is unbeknownst to most of them, they are now lackeys for the Koch brothers.

If you do not know what I am talking about read more and stop listening to the "mainstream" owned by 4-5 corporations media*.
*thank you Bill (not a real Dem) Clinton for the telecom bill and NAFTA.(sarcasm)

S&P might suck but they did in fact place the blame. Revenue, at its lowest point in over 50 years needs to be raised and the Pentagon / wars to to be reigned in. The Revenue part clearly is pointed towards the tea baggers and republicans and the Pentagon issue towards both retarded parties Dems and Repubs.

*In 1961 "real" corporate taxes and taxes on the wealthy were in the mid 40% after the first "million" made, atm "real" taxes on the wealthy are about *21% and corporations pay just over 11%.. It doesn't matter what the "tax rate" is, what matters is what is collected after all the loopholes are abused.

*If you are really wealthy and do no work at all but wait poolside for your capital gains check to come in, you are lucky if you pay 15% taxes.

Another issue is the fact States have been "bidding" against one another for businesses to come to their state, promising tax credits, refunds ++++. Retarded states keep slitting their own throats as the refunds and credits almost always outweigh the taxes taken in by "new jobs" and business.

Keep drinking the Koch brothers and their ilks kool aide as a middle class or working poor citizen.... they have billions of gallons of it to quench your thirst.

When your bills go up and your pay drops by 66% or more what do you expect

This is called federalism, and it applies not only to tax law, but every other law as well. The medical marijuana movement is an exceptional argument for it, to the point I have been looking at other states to move to. The trick is finding one that does allow for MJ use as well as not punish those who earn above a certain amount of money. New Hampshire is a pretty good contender in that race, but the winters there can be brutal. I'm used to the heat, cold winters aren't really my thing.

Yes. Initially it was. It's roots also go back before this administration, but many don't realize that. I made comment regarding that I once aligned myself with their tenets. It didn't take too long though for fascist mutherfukers to insidiously insert themselves into the movement and not so subtly become a driving force in the movement...for anyone that was paying attention of course. That was when I distanced myself from them. This actually only took a few months if I recollect.

For fucks sake, the "Motherlode Tea Party Patriots" up here open their meetings with a prayer and believe our military presence overseas is truly about spreading Democracy. I went to one of their meetings one time just to see if anything has changed...it hadn't. I walked away sickened.
