The "unemployment tax" you speak off is a tax on employers, not employees. You're still not paying any part of their state or federal income tax as you stated. But I don't even like Oprah and my couch isn't comfortable enough to sit on all day. And how much of your paycheck should I be getting? Enough to drop out of college, quit both my full and part time jobs, buy a new couch and afford me enough free time to develop a newfound appreciation for daytime talk shows?
