It is too cold in my grow room :(

Hello brothers,

I need you advice again. I use CFL lights in my closet grow room, buy I have purchased new LED growing light which emits very little heat even comparing to my CFL.
With closed door my temperature stays at around 25C. After installing LED it very probably will drop below 22C which is not suitable for good grow.
Would you kindly recommend me a way to raise temperature inside ? :fire:

Many thanks

:peace:

use cfls's for side lighting around the led's which will help keep your temp up. Or get a small space heater.

they sell these lil heaters at most home improvement stores... some of them even have a thermostat on them and you can set it to the temp you want and whenever the temps dip below that, the heater will kick on...
others do not have the thermostat on them, and they just take a lil fine tuning to have them come on and off when the temps dip below where you want them too...
i am not sure about in c.. but for f temps should be in the 78/68 degree range for optimal growth.. of course a few degrees either way won't be a problem...

 my grow closet is like 0.7m x 0.6m
There are no space for small heater. Read few posts and some people recommend electrical blankets folded in half. Use little electricity and just laid under table or on the floor.

I've got the same issue but in a larger box (about 2' x 3'). Didn't have much luck with the electric blanket but since your space is smaller I hope it works out. Someone recommended these air dryers so I'm going to give the smaller 500 model a shot. The dryer may help with humidity issues too as rain is coming my way. Good luck.

if you can't add a heater...how about adding more cfls because it would increase temps and give additional lighting...?

i assume this box is stealth?... if you can why not try to insulate the exterior? toss a blanket around it to try and keep it warm...run a space heater outside the box area...

....just trying to think outside the box folks...

dont buy a heater just add cfls till its warm enough. why waste electric on a heater when bulbs create heat?
