I asked the same question and people told me No it is not to late, They just wont get as big. Also with clones they dont need to veg as much i believe. The clone could be 10 days old, but the dna is as old as the mother plant ya dig? I live by the great lakes. Hope this helps you ;)

The longer a plant stays in veg cycle the more bud sites it will produce for when it goes into flower. So, the earlier you put your plants out in the spring, the longer they have to veg and thus bigger yeild.

So if you put plants out in mid summer they naturally wont produce as much as ones that were put out in the spring, but they still have some time to veg before the light goes to 12/12 and they start to bud.

you will be fine. just smaller plants. this could be to your advantage...in fall when rippers are looking for 14' tall trees your 6' ladies will have stealth on thier side.

i would like you to do this and document it...it would be awesome
not that easy where i live or it would be done this year. i may do it at my uncles house now that i think about it. 16 clones on a 4'x4' grid set out as soon at natural 12/12 has set in. *wheels turning*

midwest is just fine. they'll just be a tad bit shorter, no big deal is theyre good quality or in mass. it'll make up for what they lack in size bro.

Definately will, Il post my progress on this project. I have a Hindu Kush and some type of free ten pack from dr. chronic ( def outdoor breed its reaching to the ceiling at 7 1/2' tall right now), 3 full grown Mothers at this point to play with. I just killed my Humbolt outdoor Mother with a salt mishap, would have worked well but lets move on. I am looking to plant 25 - 30 pending on my root success. have been having cloning issues lately but hoping for the best.

I have 4 females out doors... I put my skunk mother out 4-5 weeks ago after she was showing pistils at around 12-14in and she just exploded. over 40 in now  and the thing is she reverted back to veg and is now goin start to flower since the summer solstice. The 2 ladies I put out 3 weeks ago are now further along then the first! Im not complaining I should yeild way more than expected off my 4 footer - she may end up around 6 feet, Im hoping. anyways as u'll see in the pics my most resent transplant a clone in a gallon container. shes small but will start cruising soon im sure

Theres still 15+ hours of daylight but the plants can since the shortening days... There also pretty shaded around dusk and dawn which puts me around 13 hours anyway
