prob a nood question but why is it soo important to keep rain off? i mean i know they can mold or rot, but isn't a lil water good? or are you worried about the extra water weight on branches which might cause them to break? or will the water hitting the nugs damamge them? im just wondering because your taking extra percations to keep them dry and grow vids and other site just say to shake the water off after it rains.

i get caterpillars. if the buds stay dry the damage the caterpillars do is minimal. almost not even noticeable. but, ........ if the damaged area gets wet it starts to rot. it can destroy huge colas before i even know i have a problem.

i've had them soaked from the rain with no problems other then the caterpillars. and breaking branches from the added weight.

So FDD... quick ?... Again i didnt buy my damn no seeum netting this year so the caterpillars are back... what do you do with those buds? Do you throw them away cause they rot out?.. or do you at least collect the heads in the bubble bags... I would think that the 220 micron would catch all the poop pieces?.. if not the 170 or whatever definitely would right? what ya think..

rotten bud is garbage. i cut all the good stuff away and throw the rotten stuff in the compost bin.

a rainstorm is a matter of perspective. does it sprinkle. shower, pour, or downpour? and how long. in the 406, i never have problems with rain. i did have a snowstorm 4 years ago, though. it was an early, and long morning.:joint:

lay 3 lengths of pvc side by side. wrap one end with garden ribbon about 10 inches down. then simple stand it up and spread the legs over the plant. now you can wrap it with garden ribbon or what-not to hold everything in.

i'll get more pics soon. the sun is blasting in my eyes right now. IMG_3888.jpg

Hey Faded. Just stopping in to say hi and see how the garden is doing. I bet some of those are getting awfully close now. I'm about 2-4 weeks from pulling most of mine.
