issues with ppm/ec

Hey guys, i've recently switched my plants over to flower and i've got afew new bloom addatives to go along with it. The issue i'm having is veg was basic coco a+b ending around 700 ppm, i added rootnectar during this phase but it didn't adjust my ec /ppm . Do i lower my base nutrients total ppm so that the new stuff im adding that raises ppm brings to around the total i was at before or do i check ppm after adding base neuts then add others regardless Here is a picture of the feeding schedule for the product line im using2018-12-24 17_25_59-.png

hello.

in the feed chart you posted, its telling you exactly how much of each product to use ml/L, and then at the far left it tells you the ~EC of the solution once you add all those components.

don't worry about following it exactly. I would use about half what it says.

even 2 EC is alot in my opinion. I usually feed my plants ~1.2 - 1.5 EC during heavy feeding.

keep giving it the same amount of A/B if it's happy. thats the most important thing, and with most nutrient lines the only thing you need.

ye i havn't been i only just found that schedule however, now i have these new addatives that raise my ppm do i lower my base neuts to bring it down so the total is ok or add less addatives? i was at about 1/2 of the reccomended nutes during veg and had slight burn so can only immagine if i followed this haha, i have everything on that chart except the veg ignitor

The coco A+B i have is used for veg and flower so i can't see myself getting a very good yield with just this alone guess bit of trial and error is in order , not something i want to do during flower but atleast its early stages

you'd be surprised. those A/B bottles probably have everything the plant needs for all stages of growth.

many, many, growers are ditching 2-3 bottle systems for 1 component nutrients. also there are lots of people who grow full cycle with just A/B nutrients.

check out MEGACROP by greenleaf nutrients. lots of people on this forum use it full cycle with great results. only add in a PK booster near the end of flowering.

How many grows have you done? I use only base nutes, 3 part GH Flora series, works great. Their ratio is altered during the grow but that's about it. These are weeds, usually less is more.

Edit: I also add a silicate and Ca/Mg

2nd, first in coco but i've done my research, yeah i get that with the base nutes but my a+b doesnt adjust ammounts of each bottle just total ml gets increased which is what makes me think it's going to be average for flower, the addatives i've got are meant to go with the a+b i have i'm sure ill be better off with than without?

Well if you are sure why ask us, go ahead :P

Frankly I would do a grow with only their base at 2 weeks into flower I lollipop my grow at which point I used the veg I've cut for clones. I'd then do 4 base nutes and 4 with an additive and right there on your third grow you'll get your answer. That's how I've come to most of my conclusions, testing it against clones.
