Iso Oil Hash Carbon Filter Purification-Brita pitcher?

So it's my understanding that activated carbon can be used to purify iso oil hash by running the iso solution through a carbon filter to pull out some of the chlorophyll, any chance a brita pitcher would work?

in case anyone cares i tried it, complete failure the end result tasted much worse and there was far less of it.
