Sorry bro your gonna have to buy dryer vents and a blower at the hydro store and find a good place to vent it to possibly through the attic.....believe me I got a 1000 watt halide going on a switchable ballst also and the heat from that room could heat my whole damn house...1000 watters run hot as hell

And I'm assuming u have a sun system reflector which can slide glass through the bottom otherwise it will be hard as hell to vent that room unless u have a vent system taking hot air out and an air conditioner to cool it...I use the sun system which has the glass...the reflector's hooked up to a dryer vent which is sucking out the hot air through a blower on one side of the reflector while pulling cool air through the other side of the reflector...the tempered glass doesnt even get too hot and it solved my heat issues

hope this helped

Yeah 1000w lights put out a lot of heat! you will need an ac or some really really good ventilation

I've had 2 1000watters in one room before, it was a 10x11 and the temp never went above 81, without ac or exhaust. I was able to keep the door halfway open though...

This is not typical. Is this in alaska in the winter or is your house kept at 60f or what?

I just dont see how this is possible. My 400w in a 4x5 closet with cool tube, 3in intake fan, and door open and temps never went below 81 with house temp at 73

To answer your question, YES you must have ventilation regardless of temps, you have to exchange the air in the room
