is varying light during veg OK?

I have 3 plants nearing a month old. I normally keep them under 3 42w plant and aquarium bulbs. My question is, is it ok for the light/darkness to vary a couple hours sometimes during this early growth. I plan on putting the plants outdoors around june 1st but im not always home to manage the lights so sometimes they are under the lights for varying hours, sometimes they are in the window for a day or 2 because i stay at my girlfriends sometimes. Will this cause my plants to be a hermi this early on or is it ok for now seeing as they will be outdoors permanetely soon

Why don't you just keep the lights on 24/7?

As long as they get atleast 16 hours a day I think they'll be fine. Invest in a cheap timer.

Well I guess that ment to be part of my question. I had them on 18/6 i was doing it myself the on and off then i had to go for a couple nights and i didnt want to do 24/7 seeing as they have been on 18/6. so i left them in the window for a couple days. Then since then i keep them in the window and when i wake up i put them under my lights then when it gets dark i put them back in the window, because they are going out there soon i figured instead of changing the light again how i had it id just keep them used to what they will be going to. Would it be ok at this point to put them on 24/7 until they go outside?

I actually did, its an Ingraham digital timer and its too fucking complicated for me to figure it out so i said fuck it since they would only be inside a month

Well they have been taken care of properly minus the 2 nights i was away and they were in the window. its not like i neglect them whatsoever i dont.

So should i keep them on 24/7 until i put them outside or not

Crunk, the ability to grow weed is a combination of knowledge, natural talent, hard work and luck. If you spend some time reading through all the thoughtful posts, you will have the knowledge. You may be in for a wake up call as to the work involved in cultivation, I'm sorry to say. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.

leave at 24/0 or 18/6 this is the proper time cycles for vegetation stage.

The damage might be done. I don't know what to say. I always do 24/7 for veg. Changing now might stress them. But changing schedules at all might stress them and it seems like they don't have a schedule so 24/7 might be the answer. I would keep a close eye out for hermie. Check the forums for pictures so that you know what you're looking for.

i tell you what it sure can handle a lot of stress b4 that can happen. exp. i was veging 18/6 for 30 days put into force flower for 14 datys then back under 24/0 for a week then they went outside. after about 2weeks outside started showing sighns of male so i dug it up repotedit and put back under 12/12. after a wek of that i did see about 6 balls. i flicked themoffand now no more balls and the buds are arriveing. just to show what a plant can gothrew. good luck

not of the ballsbut i did start a thread a few days back 2 THREADS ALL IN ONE. the pic of the two plants i thought one was male and one female, but turns out the one was hermie and the other was female. other then that, thats all i got.
