Is this Tobacco Mosaic Virus?

I've been on the Internet for hours, trying to find a definitive answer to whether this is TMV. I've seen a few pictures that look just like mine, but I still can't tell for sure. Can someone who has more experience than me (this is my first grow) tell me if that's what I have? These plants were germinated from bag seed. I have 20 plants; three are clearly affected with whatever this is, and I've removed them from my grow room. But at least one other is showing signs of problems, and I'm in a panic that I'm going to lose all 20 plants.

Thank you SO much.

The first picture shows how healthy the plants look otherwise.

Some more information.

I'm growing in a 4'x4' Sun Hut with a 400W HPS light with a light spreader on it. I've been keeping the light about 18" above the plant (I have a light meter). I'm using Fox Farm Happy Frog soil with 40% vermiculite. The soil and water pH are both at about 6.8. I use a moisture meter and check moisture religiously before watering. I started with FF Grow Big about two weeks ago, using about 1 teaspoon per gallon, with plans to increase it to the FF recommended amount once they get a bit bigger. I give this solution every other watering. On the alternate watering days, I give them plain water with molasses added to it (about 2T to five gallons of water). . These plants have been in veg for four and a half weeks.

I got these seeds my son gave me, and he had the same problem. He's the one who told me it was TMV, but he's not really sure. He ended up throwing out his whole grow to be on the safe side. If it is the virus, most likely all my plants are hosed, since they're all touching in my grow room. If that's the case, would I have anything to lose by just continuing with the grow? I know the virus will stunt growth and that my buds won't get as large as they should, but would there by a problem using the harvested buds?

I wanted to post this because if it *isn't* the virus, I can figure out what deficiency it is or whether it's nute burn or something like that and hopefully correct it. I'm still looking through years of posts, trying to find if someone else has had the same problem and what they did about it. In the meantime, if anyone has any ideas, I would sure appreciate some feedback. Thank you!

Hi,
I have not seen tbm in cannabis but I have seen it and CMV cucumber mosaic virus in adeniums, it is more mottled than your photo shows, but, adeniums still go on to produce great flowers even with the virus and I don't think it not spreads through plant contact with adeniums it is in the grafting due to unhygienic hands of smokers and once the plant has it it will continue through IT'S seeds and grafts. I would let them go if they produce good heads what does it matter if the leaves are mottled.

Thanks so much! I've decided to just let them grow and see what happens. If I don't get a great harvest I'm still ahead of where I'd be with no plants at all. :-)
