It is tmv do not listen to anyone that says it heat or ph,or nutrients don't listen to anyone that says tmv does not exist in hemp strains it does and you have to do everything in your power to eradicate it it's almost impossible order a 100$ test kit see for yourself cause after a year of starting over phaysan,20,bleach paint you it just have to throw the whole room away that is my next step even in quarnteine I can't shake itHey guys,
I have checked every sticky thread and diagnosis guide I can find and I have ruled out everything except Tobacco Mosaic Virus or a weird genetic trait.
It's not thrips, it's not heat burn - I noticed one leaf that looked weird, then I noticed curling, then more leaves started to exhibit similar traits as the plant grew.
My other plants are fine, and this was a new clone from a local medical dispensary - hence it being suspect. The room temp is at 75, the pH is at 6.5, using General Organics line of nutrients. Nothing out of the ordinary.
What do you guys think? It has the characteristic "one side curling" of TMV. Also the chlorophyll damage and bleaching/mottling.
If confirmed, what are you recommendations on course of action?

Certain genetics can throw out funky leaves like that. I had an la confidential that would do it sometimes. Either it's a genetic trait, or a predisposition to faulty nutrient synthesis. Most of the time it goes away.

I am pretty sure after reading for a few days that I also have this same weird disease on my plants . All started from seed and I noticed this weird yellow zebra stripes on 2 of my leaves. I have no bugs I check all the time. Now all of my plants have it . Pretty sure this is the reason I've had such a hard time getting quality Meds out of anything I grow. It's not me it's a damn virus that I got probably from a clone in my last grow . I didn't grow in the room for almost 6 months and washed everything when I started over . Thinking this is a nasty virus that is slowly getting its way around . It can come from soil too so it would be easy for almost every one of us to get it . Just going to a hydro shop and buying soil. Wow what a bad day for me !!!! I don't think that people have any idea what it is and it's easy to spread

How positive are you its TMV? This has been a debate for years and I'm still lost on this subject. Its broad mites its TMV, Its broad mites its TMV? I wish someone really knew.

I'm positive it's not broad mites! I have a microscope and I check often . I noticed this yellow weird color on my one lead on one plant almost 2 months ago and now every plant in my grow has it even my brand new babies that I just put in there a couple days ago

You won't see any leaf damage with broad mites. They are complety different then the spider mites. Im just trying to pick your brain is all. The leafs you are showing is what I've believed to be broad mites is all.

Fuck i wish someone know for sure. Don't rule anything out cuz i said so bro. Im as clueless as anyone on this subject. I run plants with similar issues. A lot of ogs where i live have that issue.

From the photos above If the scope sees not broad mites You have the hemp virus..... No cure.. burn and start over.

sounds like the bottled ferts (or the clones)come from the same place maybe? like the dude works afternoons there, uncaps the bottles, steals half and like when he was a kid in moms bar he tops them off with water.. so much more likely than TMV
the test isnt that expensive, google it, follow directions, and I'll pay you a thousand internets for a positive result of TMV, or no more talk of it

i know dr who has said he's sent out a bunch of samples to labs over the years to be tested for tmv, and he's yet to have a single sample come back positive for tmv in cannabis..

And i believe him hands down. I believe its that kid stealing nutrients from new bottles then filling them with water. Makes more sense.
