Is this something to be aware of?

This is about 1-2days after planting my seed in b&q peat based compost mixed with perlite I was wondering if the pinkish area is something I should be aware of or is it normal?

I wouldnt worry about it, my plant started out with a completly purple stem, give it time it will go green

Oh ok, thanks. Does anyone know why its a pinkish colour?

The pink is just from the blood flowing through the stem. It's good cuz it shows you it has a good circulatory system.

my ghs lemon skunk was like highlighter pink and has now since put of some of the biggest nugs ive ever seen or grown so dnt worry man no prob
