Is this plant male or female?
Those balls on the second pick scare me into thinking its male but i mainlined this plant so i know that may happen when putting a lot of stress on the branches. But at the same time they still have those little hairs shown in the first pic so if i can get an answer from someone who knows their shit that’ll be great.1370673F-FF10-475F-8669-CB1F0B915F40.jpegEE5CC9F5-5B0A-4FB1-99DF-5D0F364DD02C.jpeg

what is the tape/bandaid for? Looks like your cutting a lot of foilage off that plant. Leaves are the life of your plant and should only be defoilaiting to keep growth off the dirt at this stage? Can we see a full picture? To early to tell what sex needs to mature more. How old is this plant?

I was told that for this plant when mainlining i should trim all the foliage below the tops last tops i have made which is at the top. The bandaid is for when i tried to make a Perfect t shape and the branch snapped. These are before and after the prune. At this point day 49 from seed and day 3 into flower

Usually after topping, you give it a week or two to grow the new tops, then strip everything from where it was topped to the bottom of the plant.
Not from the new tops down.
At day 3 of 12/12 you still have some veg time left. It should be fine if you let it be and grow some new leaves.

Its not showing sex - be patient and wait a week and hopefully it will by then, there is no rush :-)

These are 2 months from seed and I have only pulled off bad leaves. You should have waaaaay more foliage. Your plants growth depends totally on leaves for photosynthesis and I wouldn’t put those in flower until they grow more foliage. I’m not putting these into flower for at least a couple weeks

Damn those are gorgeous. Sucks for me tho. But question why’s the lights so high? That looks like about a yard up and i know those dont give off that much heat, so why?

The problem is that you're not mainlining, you're just removing leaves and branches. Mainlining should start early.....not 7 weeks in.

This is mainlining.

Dude we’re doing the same thing. You just tied yours down. its my first grow and first mainlining so mistake were made. If i wouldve made my third topping a little earlier, mine would look just like yours. And im clearly weeks into this process. thats a cool picture and all but ur comment was dumb

Thanks dude. I run 590 watts with the two lights and that little blue X6 COB LED is a beast for 150 bucks, 300 watts. Shes my favorite LED i own out of three. I bought a 600W HPS but she runs hot with 4" exhaust and intake so once i get the new AC Infinty 6" set up i will be using the HPS for the flower tent

You guys need to leave some foliage in your plants until your well into flower your only making it harder for it to flourish
Where have you been the last 15+ seasons?? Defoliation can double flower production on the right strains... Never testing the limits leaves you behind the times. So enjoy your pile O trim, I'm makin FLOWERS!

Light is heat - when light hits a leaf it warms it and the leaf transpires to cool that excess heat.

Heat is radiation convection and conduction and it is the radiational heat were on about when refering to light.

Thats reason enough not to put meters in the light as light travels straight through air without heating it but will heat any surface it strikes :-)
