Is this how it should be looking

So just for practice purposes I germinated a bag seed, snaked the tap root through a piece or foam and have it floating in my bubbleponics set up (it's only floating on the foam bc my hydroton didn't come yet) I left it in the dark day one day 2 I put 13w cfl over it about 18" away.

The tap root deff looks like it got longer and healthier after 2 18/6 lighting sessions but the taproot is curved and the bottom of it is looped up and hitting the foam (the tip that has the 2 green looking leaves) and the piece of seed exposed hasn't budged.

Is this normal? The steam starts growing out of the seed later on?
Thanks for the help I've read a ton but it's nothing until actually starting and I wanna get this down before using my real seeds

The seed will just fall away eventually. You got root you got leaves, sounds exceptionally normal, probably should've Waite d until you had all the pieces to the puzzle but as long as it's existing you should be good.
