Im growing a few different strains in my closet, White widow, Jock horror, Durban Poison, and a female Ultra Haze. All the plants have been grown under floresents and cfl's and they are about 2 months old. For the first month or so they were in beer pong cups (or small party cups) with seed starter. The tallest one is about 6 inches. My main concern is the one ultra haze. It has always been smaller then the others and the leaves look scraggly. By this i mean they are small and rigid, not like any plant ive ever had. Thats not saying much since this is my 3rd grow, but i wanted you guys to take a look.

Also, i topped them about 4 days ago and kicked up the veg nutes, but i realized i need to sex them still. Should i give them time to recuperate or just kick the lights back to 12/12 now?
Thanks for the comments :joint:

If you aren't in a giant hurry I'd let them rest for a few days. Going to 12/12 is a bit of a stress too. Not sure about the straggler.

First off, lets adress your super HAZE. Different strains like different amounts of Nuts, temp, watering and so on. A NOOBIE GROWER SHOULD GROW ONE STRAIN. When you grow more then one strain, you have to adjust for each strains needs.

Next off, You said the one straggler. I am not wanting to bust your bubble and be mean here. but all of your plants are stragglers for being two months old. You should not put them into 12/12 until; you figure out what you are doiing wrong. Give us some accurate info and detailed INFO and I bet with everyone here we can get your plants nice and bushy and fat. Not skinny and scraunny. My plants love it when I ignore them. Do not over LUV your plants. Your grow medium looks funky also.

What I am saying is this. Your plants are in trouble. You should fix the trouble while In veg stage. Then go into flowering stage.

One more bit of advice. Do not take advice from everyone in here. Find one person you have confidence in and follow his/her advice. You follow everyones advice you with have a hines 57 grow. and some of those people with advice have never even popped a seed before.

Fix the trouble, then go into flowering stage.

Oh, and if you want help from me, be ready to spend a few hundred dollars. You need a lot of stuff for a nice crop. That soil SUCKS. Go buy some COCO, or some Fox Farm soil ay the Hydro store. Heck I hate Miracle Grow, and MG would be better then what ever you are using now. It looks like you got it out of your driveway.

lol sorry about the soil man. All it is is cheap potting soil that i mixed with Perlite. I thought it was kinda shitty myself, but i read that you can mix your own and its just as good? And i know there growing slow, but they are healthy for the most part. The nodes are close and the stems are thick. I think they were going slow becase they were in seed starter for too long. The seed started is mostly vermiculite and perlite and it had alot of drainage. the plants improved alot since i transplanted into my "driveway soil". anyways, i transplanted about 6 days ago, do you think i should transplant in foxfarm? The reason i didnt want faxfarm is because it has nutes in it already, so i thought it would be more difficult to know what to add.

and i only plan on putting them in flowering for long enough to determine sex, since i dont want to waste space on the males. The durban posion are going outside, and my flowering room isnt set up yet, so im not planning on flowering until after i get clones, which at this rate will be awhile.

FoxFarm Ocean Breeze only has Worm castings and maybe Bat shit in it. if You are worried about that small amount of organic nuts then us Coco. it works just like soil with out the Nutrience and the PH factors. But with Coco you need to add CalMag, Especially if useing R/O water. Coco is made from Coco Husk. I have tried about 5 times to grow in soil, and everytime I fucked something up. People say that Hydro is harder, but I have always did very good at Hydro. Right now I have 8 plants growing in SOIL.... Well OK<<<<< It is COCO, and they are doing fantastic. I have been told that COCO will do just as good as Soil for taste and strength. Soil is always what Arjan, owner of green house seed companies uses when entering into the Cannibus cups with. And he is known as the Cannibus King. I have noticed a HUGE difference in smell from the plant now that I have changed to COCO, and this is still in VEG stage. My 4 week old Veg plants in COCO smell stronger then the Mothers that are 5 weeks into Flowering in HYDRO, I sheet you Knot. I think If all goes well for a few crops, I will get rid of my hydro systems. Hell I have 4 fully fuctional systems.
