Right now i have this plant under a 400watt MH which is about 3 feet above the top of the plant. the temps get high in the closet (high 80s/low 90s). Im guessing heat is the problem, what do you think?

This was taken from greenmanspage, a direct quote...

"Necrotic and yellow spots form on top leaves. Mn deficiency occurs when large amounts of Mg are present in the soil. Foliar feed with any chemical fertilizer containing Mn."

Could his soil be Manganese deficient?

no... i would leave it alone it is fine, the cotyldons supply all of the nutrients that the plant needs. i would wait a few days and then see.

leave it alone its a baby let it grow keep the soil wet and it will do fine, like someone said maybe just a water drop on such a small leaf magnifies the light 30x LET IT BE
