Is This for Real? Currently Staff is Issuing Registry Identification Cards for Valid

It says they are currently issuing registry identification cards for valid applications received at the end of October.

I just turned mine in early this month.

This is going to take forever!

yea it takes a really long time, I am not so sure that october is up to date though, you should expect a 3 to 4 month wait at the least

I sent mine at the end of October and it took 130+ days to get the hard card.

i sent my paperwork in like 75-80 days ago still nothing but with your paperwork and all copies of certified mail you are just as good as legal if your 21 days max wait for denial are up....

Mailed my renewal information in on 2/15/11 and received my new card in the mail today.........maybe it takes longer if your trying to just get one, IDK.

Sent my stuff in at the end of October and just got my card today....

90 days for my first one and 14 days for my renewal

yes they are way behind in issuing HARD CARDS.

now. due to this, its working like this atm.


you send in your app, dr rec, copy of your DL and ck/mo for 100.00 unless you qualify for the 25.00 payment for being on SSDI (soc sec disability income) from the day they RECEIVE IT (always send in by certified mail to quantify date delivered) they have 5 days to review, and up to another 15 days to react on your appe.

now that means they have 20DAYs to review, and either issue your Pt Card or issue a denial letter.

IF they issue a denial letter (only current reason you ll be denied is if your paperwork is not complete, or your missing a piece, or sent a COPY of the paperwork in, not the originals ect...) they will send a copy via Certified mail to you when they do deny you, and you ll get that typically in 2 days. Now with them being so behind on hard cards, basically, you can use a COPY of your original paperwork sent in ( copy of your application, Drs Recommendation, and copy of your DL and check/mo you sent to the MDCH) , the certified mail receipt from the post office showing date they received it, AND a copy of your Cashed Check or Money Order. keep all these copies together in an envelope and on you whenever you have MMJ on you. AFTER 21 Days from the day the MDCH Recieved the paperwork (certified mail receipt), OR 21 days from the day your check/mo is cashed (copy of this item after cashed. be sure to get a copy of the back also soing the Mi.Gov deposit Stamp) and you are considered legal and protected as outlined in the MMMA 08 laws, until your hard card arrives.

basically when you can see your check/mo is cashed, and you have a copy of that, with all the other paperwork, your good to go (or should be fine) until your hard card arrives.

Yo sup man i heard u can get it stamped if u kno anything about the address to go do that cuz i been seachn and cant find shit on anything about getting it stampd i just got my dr papers and i should have mailed it 2 days ago if i can still get into a dispensary with proof that i mail it. i heard if its stampd u can go right to a dispensry

my boy just got his card last week and he applied nov. 28. i called the hotline that same day and they are saying somthing about working on october. yeah the ottawa building in lansing they will stamp your papers.

Well, I'm still waiting. And I can't find that page that says what month they are on now either.

Not true, 7 mile and Southfield are using stamps but they mail via snail mail. So it takes longer for the check to get cashed.
Paperwork dated 5-4-11, check cashed 5-20-11, cant buy till june 9th.

I made mine out of a paper clip and a bubble gum wrapper, and it was ready in just 15 mins.

dude u get a signature card from the post office and a certified mail receipt from the post office. its 2 diffrent things. 1. u send in your app to the state certified mail. costs like 7 dollars. then u pay for the signature card and it will be sent to your address after the state STAMPS it. hope it help
