Is this enough for 4 plants

Alright guys I am starting to get my gear together for my grow I am wanting to grow 4 plants I am getting a tent the size is 80x80x160 or there's a 120x120x200 I would prefer the smaller one to be honest because this has to go into my bedroom and there is not much space also would a 400w HPS light be enough for 4 plants or would I need a 600w cheers in advanced guys

There's a proven formula for figuring square footage and wattage here somewhere, now if only I could find it. Off the top of my head, I run 3 footers in roughly the same sized area as your smaller tent...and 4 fit easily.

So U should B good to go w/smaller tent...and I'd use the 600.

600w can go 4x4 or 5x5 foot for veg (5x5 is pushing it, and will cut down on effectiveness of the light) - for flower, do not push 600w past a 4x4 foot space

Agreed, just helped a new grower set-up about 8X8 and had to add a second 600 almost immediately...and this was only for 7 plants total.

Threads like these always start with unspecified assumptions that never get addressed. What could they be?

A) The humidity will be perfect
B) Fans are never required, ventilation is perfect
C) They don't need pH meter or anything else, they go by the taste of the soil
D) It's a cleanroom environment and self-sustaining.. like the Biodome.

How's that for a start?

If you are growing 4 under a 400w hps or mh... you will be fine
How long/big you planning on veg-n them...
10 plants will fit under a 400 watter, if you are growing in dixie cups...

I plan on vegging them for 4 weeks thats if they dont get too big I was also thinking about growing in a Wilma system but haven't decided yet

Just keep in mind that veg time growth should be smaller than flower.. so you have to account for that as well given space constraints/your setup.
