Is this a watering problem?

Hi all!

The plant looked fine a few days ago (she was one week on Monday and looked normal). Tuesday she was REALLY droopy, so I haven't watered her since. Check today and the container is light as hell and the soil is rock hard.

Thoughts?

What type of lighting do you use? Seems to be a combination of too little water and too much heat.

After you watered it, add some foil over the soil (with a hole in the center for the plant), it will reflect the heat and prevent the soil in that shallow bowl from vaporizing so fast. I suggest adding some more details (temps, ph, soil, humidity etc etc) so you can get more answers that involve less guessing.

Also, I'd use a finer type of soil for seedlings next time.

Water if the pot is light. Seedlings like it a tad moist. You can also take a 2 litre bottle and make a humidity dome for it. She looks dry to me.

Soil looks pretty course for a germination mix.

What are those in, soup bowls? Unless there is a hole in the bottom you are going to have soggy soil on the bottom that the roots won't want to grow into.
