Is this a good seed box?

My suggestion is that you get rid of the tin foil and get some mylar emergency blankets to line the walls. You can find it in the sporting goods section of walmart for like two or three bucks. Maybe add another PC fan on the opposing end as well. One for bringing air in, and one for blowing air out.

idk why you are running those but imo it be easier to pot up using solo cups. that is probably what i'd be concerned of the most. just lack of space plus the pot up might be hell. i think they will be okay for a week 2 maybe not.

Warming pad and 24 hour cfl will make them happy .

Those trays should have a peat plug or rooter . Seeds may germ in that soil , but how are you gonna pull them out without stressing them when you transplant ?

Bury a seed in a container or solo cup of slightly damp soil and leave it alone.
Or put moist plugs in that tray , with seed , spray wth spray water ONCE IN AWHILE to keep it hydrated and let them be. No dome required.

Well done but it needs more work :-)

- Tin foil, ditch this stuff and use any of the cheap alternatives to mylar or just buy a cheap ass three meter length of mylar. We never use tin foil its bad practice and reflects not diffuses.

- You need a few more cfls say four or better still buy those cheap ass flouro strips from a grow shop for a few bucks.

- I see one fan, it ahould be sucking the air out not blowing in and wont need to be set very high, i use a cheap voltage transformer and there are threads on how to connect so you can adjust fan speed.

- Find a more shaded place for thermometer and hygrometer, light radiation will affect it and not what we want, i bet your bix is a touch cooler than actual readings.

If any of this seems exspensive or a hassle you picked the wrong hobby, pre made plug and play veg tents are sold everywhere if you hate diy.

- Dont make fire check wiring and circuits :-)
