The basket is fine. i would not leave in next to an open window. Just place the basket in the corner of a room. Jmho.

Maybe if you are drying small amounts at a time. Like a QP max judging by the picture. You can't layer wet buds and expect them to dry properly.

What drove you away from the classic hanging a branch over a clothes hanger or string and air drying that way?

I suppose it could be useful if you are having to dump out a bunch of mason jars when sweating and need a consistently clean and well aerated place to keep them.

Or if you are trying to dry all of your trim to sift it.

I have a 5 tier mesh rack and I love it. I have never hung my buds to dry. I trim them wet, cut them down as far as I can and they dry quick.I want all the time to cure. Keep that rack in a room with plenty airflow and not direct light;)

I also have one of the 5 tiered hanging racks and like it. Just wish I could toss it in the washer to clean..it's kinda a P.I.T.A.

I just tried some stuff called moisture absorber on a few freshly picked buds and theyre dry to the touch in only 2 days, seemed to work pretty well. Just poured half a handful in the fold of some newspaper and laid it across the bottom of a cardboard box with the buds hanging above and lid on. Newspaper was soaked within 12 hours.
After 2 days the buds felt the same as others that ive had hanging up for a week.
