is this a decent setup for 2 plants?

so I was just gonna do a single bucket system but I was having problems with the temps and I didn't want ice bottles touching my roots. so I thought of this setup what you think? this is probably a standard rdwc I donno

DIY is moar betta.. and a lot of fun.

Stealth hydro is the biggest rip off company out there. That tote is so thin you can see light through it and all of what they send you can be had locally for better quality and price.
But why do you even want to go to all that trouble just because of ice bottles? I have used ice bottles directly into dwc res with roots for years and nevera problem, and never rot. K.I.S.S.
