I would go w/ 2 , Pro-4's myself but she asked about those 2 options.
They are offering 25-30% discount for RIU w/o the Holiday deal.

Well, the performance of any Cree setup is well-documented throughout many companies. The new Vero fixture is the most powerful. I'd probably go for the Vero just because I like powerful fixtures.

If amare is using good components you'll get good results! I think all anyone here is saying is that they feel like they already know the results the amare will give because they use most of the same components but build them for cheaper.

There's an interesting study though comparing different combinations of light, and there was one that excelled in some areas because of its ratio between different spectrums. There's a good chance that amare is onto something really good, but these studies require funding, time, scientific analysis and publication of datapoint taken from plant morphology and analysis of chemical compounds to know what the affects are, and even then there so much variance between species genes and phenotypes that it's a massive effort to understand.... the chances of amare actually knowing anything for themselves is pretty unlikely, I think they read some study papers, put on lab coats and designed lights that looked impressive hoping it would be better than just plain cobs. Maybe they are!

Actually, they took a very logical approach in their light recipe. Quite simple actually. They took the power & broad spectrum of the 3k & 35k cobs, added 65k diodes to spike the blue, 470nm to fill the gap lacking in white cobs to be full spectrum, then added 630nm & IR. 630 is known to be more effective then 660 for its better radiometric efficiency, more of a natural spectrum, & won't cause bleaching. The 450 has the UVB bulb too.
My understanding from talking to Victor, they've done the testing.
From what I've seen w/ mine & others using Amare, it's deffinetly legit. Happy plants & good quality yields tell all.
I know there's poeple here that call their light recipe a secret sauce but there's really no secret about it. Victor shares the recipe w/ anyone that asks. Just full spectrum at the right balance.
