It was a mates he give it up so i had it off him...
what you think?? bin it or make it better!!
i ask because it seems alot brighter than my 200w red spec enviro light. this is a 250w with m.h and hps bulbs so its alot better but i dunno cause of the shabby wires... its a mess

Start from fresh- dodgy wires =fire risk
you also dont know how many hours the bulb has been used.

as you can see that theres no case or anything just a bunch off messy wires!! could i put it in a new box and sort the wires out abit and make a diy reflector what you think good or bad idea..

it also says it has a temp control when it gets to hot it turns off....
but yea i can see about the wires...
what about a metal case if i sort the wires out myself?
it looks simple enough on closer inspection.
oh i know my mate bought new bulbs about a month ago and he started to grow it died and he said fuk it lol so a month of 18 hours a day not to long really

Leave well alone unless you are an electrician. You need to sleep soundly at night without worrying about the house burning down.

lol yea i thought about that when i first turned it on
it made me flinch man i thought jezus fire hazard but jus to let you know my mate has had this light for some time been using it happily.. hes crazy mind you but im not!! so hes been ok using it as you see it.:roll:... im thinking somthing like no way not a chance but maybe i could fix it and yea i did electrics in school lol like 10 years ago and i dont think wires are hard to fix/change.. just im still not sure if its worth it and im thinkin put the ballast in a metal case so only the plug and light fittings are outside so less fire hazard .. it might sound like i made my mind up but i havent im just thinkin of keeping it cheap man i can be payin out me arse for a ballast but whats the point right now when i have one that i know nothin about lol?...

it does work bro it works fine i just dont like the messy wires like i mean i can see them for a start n that in my book is not so good...:-| lol but i looked at some proper ballasts and you cant see inside its just a box so i thought maybe i could do the same thing sort it out a tiny bit cause even the newest ballasts dont have nice neat wires but they are screwed down to sumthin n thats the only real difference but still im sketchy.. i got a 200w envirolight its big as hell but that dont have a ballast so wtf is goin on ere

yea chucked the shit in the bin man was worthless to me lol i have enough lights i think!!! nd i didnt really wana say o i live ere come buy it off me for five quid lol

hps lights 400watt with ballast only 170€! it works super! they have 600watt+ballast only 200€! and 250watt hps sylvania gro-lux for only 150€ with ballast shure! lol... HPS IS THA BOMB! :joint::evil:
