Is the growth rate good or bad?

Hi guys, hows the smoke? here are some pics of my clones i took about an hour ago.The bigger one is 25cm tall and the little one is 14cm. it is now day 18 since being planted. they started at 15cm and 8cm. only another 24 days till i put them into bud.
does anyone have any idea how tall these 2 are going to get? i am using a 400watt hps and it is about 90cm from the top of the big plant. they are on 22/2 light and flooding every 3 hours. temps 24-27 degrees and humidity atm is 65%.
in the last three days the big one has grown about 2.5 cm and the little one 1.5cm. i dont want to top them if i can avoid it. i will LST if needed.
i welcome any suggestions on how to make them grow faster. i also want to add that this is my first grow.

lol well topping and lst are out of the question how big are you wanting to let them get?

suggestion: buy a metal halide light and put it much closer

drop it down train a fan over the tops and they will begin to grow out rather than just up. put up mylar and flower at 12-15" tall so they don't get too monstrous for the 400. unless you lollipop

Hi fella get that light real close with a 400w like dbo24242 said with a fan blowin on the tops and on the shade or bulb to if you can. With a 400w you dont want to let them get v big as the light will only grow meaningfull buds on the top 12 inches of the plant the rest will be a bit fluffy. I also top all of my plants as they seem to yeild more with 4 main colas than with just the one big one under a 400w but all strains like to grow different.
Bellow are some plants grown under a 400w so shud give you an idea what size you are after. Its blue cheese grown in Canna Coco in 7.5 liter pots. Good luck fella!.

eyeco that is a beautiful plant for a 400w. 322 g? damn son that is like 11-12 ounces almost 3/4 lb from one plant under a 400w? unbelievable and you have multiple plants in there too. what do you feed those things, steroids?

Ha no i got 5 plants under one 400w light (space got tight there was 6) and all produced about the same yeild in 8 weeks. I use Canna coco and canna nuets at half strength from start to finish (2ml per liter A+B) with a bit of pk13 for flowering. Thanks for the big up tho fella! ( ps: got about 3 1/4 of an ounce of blond ice hash from the trim to using my bubble bags! v nice)

oh ok so the 322 g was all 5 plants? that would mean you had average of like 2-3 ounce per plant? still very good! you are experienced with coco then that is awesome! I have just started using coco based potting soil.

yea 400w is a good amount if you utilize it well.

Yea coco is the way to go never used it as a soil amendment myself tho heard it great with soil, i use it straight up on its own and love it.

ok I'm just really dumbfounded here you're telling me you pulled over 1500 grams from under a 400w? I don't really know if I believe it.

I figured it out; the 322 grams was wet and stemmy so that probably shrunk to 125g easily. 125 x 5 would be a little shy of lb and a half, so I'm thinking stems and water weight must have been a good 70-80% for you and your final total weight was somewhere around 400 grams.

all good suggestions .. I'll add --> co2 helps increase yield as well.. keep coaxing the plant to take on a greater and greater concentration of nutrients (as long as you dont give them nute burn, keep increasing the nutes)..
