Is something wrong here?

Well I just decided to start growing my own plants. So I built a Box to keep them in and started out using degratebale seed starter cubes along with the little pots. I get a filling that they are growing a little to tall. I water them every day and I occasionally spray them with maricale grow. Can anybody help me out with telling me what I need and what I should be doing that would properly help my plants grow with the system I am using?

Here are some pictures of what I have so far.

If ya are watering everyday either they need to be transplanted or when ya do water you are not giving them enough. SOAK the shit out of them.

Lower the lights.

Lower the lights.

I moved them alot closer to the light. They are about 10 inches away now. what do you think?

If its flouro tubes darn near ride the light just above the plant. Just make sure they arent really hot running CFL's To me the 2700K's run much hotter than the 6400k cool whites but ive always figured thats why they give them the warm white and cool white names. Anyways yea if you can touch them with your hand and not feel discomfort run them just above the foilage... Cant see your lighting coice though. Just by the severity of the stretch im thinking you have a couple flouro tubes in drop them way down like 1 to 2" above the tops

Keep the lights as close as possible, as to not burn them. Other than that keep em as close as possible. Your babies are the most stretched I've ever seen, well considering it's the first week or two. They are obviously wanting more light, that's why they stretch to begin w/ to reach for additional light, this puts unwanted stress on them btw.

Flouro tubes can go as close as 2" away, you need more light as they are way too stretched.

Ive been doing research. And Im sorry im making mistakes on the spelling. But isnt a forum about discussing about a certain topic and not for bashing people on spelling. Ill be sure to correct my spelling from now on.

sorry just giving u a hard time,
heres my two cents

u dont need fertilizer yet and i would definitely say get stronger lights, like compact fluorecents if u cant get HID's
move lights close and watch the plants carefully

thats a nifty box you got there ron, i'm interested in seeing what kind of up grades you will make for the lighting, but i would also get a fan blowing on them to thicken em up

I moved them closer to the light about 2 inches. I also put a fan on them when I get home from work. I work 10 hour days so they care getting the fan for about 14 hrs. Im now going to start watering them every other day instead of everyday. But hopefully putting them closer to the light will stop them from stretching. So take it easy on me this is my first grow ever haha.

Here is a pic from what I have now. Under them is a Filtered tower fan.

yea lower the lights cut out the fertalizer maybe find a way to get some cfls in there if ya dont feel like spendin money on a more expensive light.
are you planning on keeping more then like 2 of those when they get bigger? cause youl prob run outta space pretty quick once you fix things up a bit

dont over water! make sure to only water when the soil is dry, dont just water "every day" or "every other day", water when the plants need it. They can rot out and die quickly if u over water them at this early stage!
