Assuming this was directed towards me, I'm using an ebb and flow system w/ hydroton.

Not feeding cal mg at all.. I've never used cal mg.. I read that typically I won't need to use it bc is in my A+B.
I'm not Phing my nutes because I read that you're not supposed to with Ph perfect. Another reason I was thinking of switching. 'They' (AN) say that you're not supposed to PH your nutes or check PPM's due to the PH Perfect technology. The PPM info is from an email directly to them, and the PH is just what I've seen around different forums...
The ph perfect goes to a ph of 5.5 immediately. I'm using promix hp and bx. I've been bumping my ph up too 6.0-6.2. I haven't seen no ill effects. I also run cal mag as I'm using RO water. AN is designed for hydro. As far as hp being soilless, I'm not sure that shit looks and smells like dirt, lol.

Yea bro, i really have no experience with AN. To me with a soilless grow you want to know and be in charge of everything. Just a suggestion if your considering switching nutes in the pic. I grow in sunshine #4 the same thing as your medium. Wish i could be more help.

I was just joking around with him. There right 1.5-2 is standard depending on strain with hps

I do love the tried and true 1000 watt + sativa dominant for size / density these are day 24 of 72ish

Any advice?
Those look frosty to me :bigjoint:

Advice / questions
-What's the ph of your "soil"
-Do you pre water the soil with plane water before you feed
-No need to water till there is run off unless you plan to ppm it

Don't believe always in what you read you need to learn to read plants ,, ph is to low way to low in soilless medium you want min 6.4 - 6. 8 problem with any nutrient line is its not MJ specific there are 100's of strains that are no feeders and 100's that ate heavy feeders ,, with that said Again do what ever you like but its all about Fine tuning and truthfully speaking fuck what you read you need to know what yout ph is not just be blind
Also its not about the amount of nutrients its about the right amounts of all Micro and MAcro nutrients

Thanks man, I appreciate it!

- I'll Ph my soil tomorrow after I feed. My nutes shop was out of my base nutes, and my girls were already starving. No good :(
- I don't do that! Is that a common practice?

Picked up some Calmag today! It doesn't sound like I need it, but as far as I can tell it's a common nute to keep on deck!

So, at the point that I'm at now, where I haven't been PHing my nutes... Should I just start PHing my nutes and just feed like that, or should I check the PH of my soil, then try to balance it out. (I've never done it before but I know there's a process to it)

How much of a flush should I do? A full flush? Like 3x the volume?

AN ph's itself to 5.5-5.6 which is where most hydro grows are at. That isn't terrible but most I've read people want 6.0+ in soil or coco. I honestly could not tell you if it goes back to 5.5 or not after you ph it, I get it to 6.0-6.2 and water my plants. Even if you are watering them with 5.5 water that isn't bad IMO. I'm definetly not hip on soil though. I don't have all the little gadgets a soil grower would have. My room is setup to run hydro, I just did a soil run in it right now to give it a run. I'm in the middle of building my rdwc right now so once these finish I can run it as it is designed.

Also I have watered without ph'ing after adding nutrients, I do think its preferred but I haven't seen any real ill effects from it, this soil run I have though has been plagued with several other issues though so it's hard for me to give good advice.
