well u want them a little more amber color with some cloudy tricones thats were its at its most potant so i have read i truely dont know

i find that if you use a part of the bud to put the microscope on to help balance it better and to stop the shakes, it works much better.. just put the mic right ontop of the part of bud you want to look at, than move the bud around and keep the mic right were it is.. i find this a much better option than trying to move the microscope around..
and also, look at something like a piece of paper on a flat table before you try and look at your buds.. this will allow you to get the focus down first before hand.. and you shouldn't need to mess around with the focus once you look at the buds..
another tip is to try and only use the 60x zoom of the mic instead of the 100x..

I see 70% cloudy and 30% clear, maybe a few that look almost popped and brown (maybe I smashed them a few microscope tries back), guess I have a few more days left.

i take it you could see out of the microscope than ehh? if so, glad i could help.. i know that those suckers are tricky to get used to, but once you figure it out, its not all that bad.. i really like mine and don't know what i could use that does as good of a job..

plus rep yo! Its so hard to keep steady and really focus on the areas I want!

the 3 on the left are the older vk (in terms of veg time) and the right one is the younger vk, but is closer to the light and seems to be further along
