Is she ready for NUTES?

First grow
Sagamartha's Double Diesel Ryder Auto
13th day from seed

I was wondering if I could start giving it the soil and root nutes. It already has quite a few sets of leaves as you can see.

Please let me know what you guys think.

about i'd say let those new forming leafs come out as much as the last set u want it to be the second set of true leafs than start at 1/4 mix than 1/2 mix and so on

This all depends on what exactly you are talking about. The kind of soil. The size of the planter. The brand/type of nutrients. Your ability to control pH.

Honestly, I don't think it needs anything but time and moisture over the next few days/week. Wait for at least another leaf set to poke through before doing anything with food. Soil is food. Let the microbes break down the organics and feed the plant naturally. I think maybe a drop of superthrive in a gallon of water is about all you might need at the moment.

Some people say they start the nutes around the 3rd week, I personally don't like to start nutes on my seedlings and sometimes even my clones until weeks 4-5. When I start I only use about 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water. Read your nute lables to get an idea of the amount you want to start your plants, I would never start at the recommended amount on seedlings. Don't want to burn them:leaf::leaf::finger:

I waited until the cotelydones (round starter leaves) started to yellow, then I provide nutes. A lot depends on what kind of soil you're using and how long a plant will thrive off of whats provided.

I would say it depends on what you are using for food. But beyond that, i would go with iries recommendation. Thats about when I start giving mine nutes but i only use fish emulsions and a couple other things in veg.

Very interesting. But since its an autoflowering ryder that is supposed to be ready for harvest around day 55 or 60 I was just wondering if I should be feeding it nutes earlier. So I should wait at least for the 3rd week of growth? I would love to grow this as organic and clean as possible but I would also like to get more than one ounce per plant if possible. Any tips on if I should use nutes at all and which ones are tops for what I want? Basically this is amongst the best tasting strains so I wouldn't want to mess that up with nutes.

Also another question. I often go on weekends for 3 or 4 days max. If I leave the plant unattended it should be OK...meaning no water or nutes during these days? Or should I get a water/nutrient dripper? If so, what are they called so I can check my local head shop.

Diesel ryders will give perhaps an oz dry in close to perfect conditions....at 13 days, your plant should be healthy enough to respond to some light veg nutes ..... having patience between feedings/watering is a must for root structure to grow which will help enable healthy buds............

Ryder strains show great vigor if left alone for a few days......I grow my autos in small 4" pots and leave'm alone for days.....letting them almost dry out is a good thing....sometimes you have to stop pushing them and letting them pull themselves.....

Guys here is an update on my girl.

I really want to grow this as organic as possible but I would also like to get +1 oz per plant so I think nutes are necessary.

I have BCuzz Soil Nutrition A and B, Soil Booster, Root Booster, Bloom Booster and PK 13-14.

Any thoughts?

IMG00665-20110309-1934.jpgHey guys. She is now 17 days old from seed.
As initially said, I would like her to grow as naturally as possible but I would also like a good yield.
Is it time for me to start feeding her Nutes?

Check her out
