Is plant suppose to be this short

I am growing outdoors and i planted a seed that i had done germinated into a pot and placed outside Thursday or about 5 days ago. It is growing but it is only about an inch tall is this normal or should it be growing faster. It is out in a yard where it get sunlight as long as the sun is shining. Thanks for any comments

At one week it's really not that bad to be an inch tall. It should have at least 3 sets of leaves showing though. Its beginning a long life so if your plant isnt big at the end of week one its not a big deal.

but see that is the problem it only have the baby leaves and the very first set of the pointed leaves
