obama extends most of the bush tax cuts, but people still disparage them as the bush tax cuts.

obama extends the reaganphone, but people now refer to it as the obamaphone.

do you not see the difference?

Back during Reagans time there were no Apple iPhone 5c gold editions with unlimited text and talk and data all paid for by dear gubbermint. there was a land line phone with free local calls during Reagan and you couldn't take it with you.

bolded 2: actually, reaganphones are paid for by the universal service administrative company. ya know those tiny little charges you see on your phone bill? the universal service fee is one of them, it's like $0.50 a month or so.

for some reason, this was never controversial until it got racialized under obama to disparage those 'lazy, welfare' types.

Those lazy welfare types were still lazy welfare types before Obama. Black or white blue brown who cares. Whoever thinks they are entitled to the free care already recieved and voting against anyone that hints at fixing the issue. Is the problem. "Those people" what a dick. Reagan didn't create the government-subsidized cell phone program. You can argue that the program is merely an extension of a program Reagan did create, but it was under Obama that the program was aggressively advertised and expanded, which caused the costs of the program to skyrocket, to the extent that they announced they needed to overhaul they way they were doing things. Thus Obamaphone.

I'm not saying the label is wise or even technically accurate, only that it's not racial. Presidents get attached to policies and realities they aren't really responsible for all the time, whether it's blame or credit. You made a thread in this forum titled "Thank you, Obama!" praising Obama for the increases in American energy output even though he had nothing to do with it; likewise, some people have blamed Obama for the subsidized cell phone program even though its rollout started in the last year of Bush's presidency. Both claims are silly but neither claim is racial.

we kept it behind the USDA, the ASPCA and the NRDC, the JPEGs were too grainy so we published them in PDF, PNG and BMP format but MPAA complained to the SPLC and we got a CDO based on the DMCA and were forced to remove them.
