I hung up 3 plants that were a different strain in my flowering room to dry. when i trimed it up I noticed there were hella seeds in the middle of the bud. my plants that are flowering rite now are two weeks along and the buds look smaller than normal and the hairs are shorter. whats going on?

will they still yield well? and if I have clones in the other room are they going to do the same if I continue to grow the hermi crop. I have 36 flowering and like 30 of them look this way

look at the nodes on the bottom of ur buds, if you see dangling thingies that look like bananas and are open, you have hermies. and you will have seeds. you will see the odd banana within the buds as well. hermies will not yeild as much as unfertilized female plants due to the seed production but they will still produce smokable bud, just gotta pick seeds :p . but it sounds like you have quite a large crop going so check each plant for bananas, if you made the clones from a single mother plant that was indeed a hermie then all the clones you produced from that mother will be hermies as well. if you had different strains or different clones from different mothers in the room, unfortunately they probably are pollinated by this point from the hermie plants.

if you have two separate rooms and the other plants are still in veg you should be fine. but after you crop all the hermies in the room ur going to have to scrub every inch with bleach and thouroughly clean your ventiliating systems with bleach to get rid of any pollen that may be left around. or in the future you may have more seeds from your hermies pollen that is still floating around.

generally you dont want to mess around with pollen and you shouldve been watching your ladies for signs of nutsacks!

but on the bright side! if you harvest some of this hermie pollen you can use it on other female plants that are not from the same mother and produce close to 90% feminized seeds with the odd hermie seed. seeds produced by self pollinating are indeed going to produce close to 90% hermie seeds with the odd female plant. this happens because the female plant when it produces pollen by hermieing has no XY chromosomes in it because it is a female plant, therefore when you use it on another female plant it produces feminized seeds.

damn... I feel like just as bad as if i had been robed. Iv been growing for years this same strain and this is the first time this has happened and all because I took a clone from my friend and brought it in my grow room. now I have to get rid of this strain and find another. not to mention its going to set me back 3 weeks and the bud isnt going to be worth my normal 3400

if its just one plant that has hermied you can remove it and it will stop spreading pollen around. but there will still be residual pollen until you can disinfect properly. Go inspect all your plants for balls and report back with pictures :D

there all that way except for like 4 . I went out of town before they started to flower and my brother watched my house. right when I seen them when I got back I knew something was wrong. those three plants got fucked up during there flowering there was a light leak in there dark cycle for a while and they started vegging again so I fixed it and thats how I think they turned on me. I have alot of air flow in both room and im thinking they fertilized all my plants in my veg room and thats why they all flowered hermi. ima finish them out and get what I can out of them. clean out the rooms burn sulfur and start with a fresh set
