Is my LED FUBAR? Or just the driver?

I got a 600w kingbrite led bar assembly about a year ago and it worked perfectly till it died today. Its acting weird having pretty much all LEDs on but barely any light coming out of them they look like stars at night.

On the farthest bar theres a little strip of the leds (about a third of the bars length) emitting a bit more light tan the rest.

The way its behaving leads me to believe that the driver is the issue since apparently the diodes are working passively as they should but getting barely any energy but idk.

Has this happened to any of you guys? Any input is appreciated.

Tried that and I get the same behaviour. Besides even with the dimmer on lowest you get plenty light not just total darkness with white star-like dots

You fired it at full power with the dimmer completely disconnected and straight power to the strips?

Check your purchase date and see if you are covered by their warranty. Asap cause it might run out right on 12 months. Get in contact with Kingbrite in either case. If they have any morals they'll replace the driver for free.

Post their response in here too for reference.
Meanwell drivers have a 5 year warranty

I think I did. I unscrewed the water resistant connection and completely disconnected the dimmer from the driver and I got the same behaviour. When I was testing it with the dimmer on it still I could dim the star looking diodes' whatever little light was coming out even though there was barely any.

Would he still need to go though Kingbrite if they are the ones who built it? Does that meanwell warranty cover their drivers when installed in another manufacturers product?
Well considering meanwell only makes drivers and not lights where else would they be installed otherwise?

That Mean Well driver has a 7 year warranty. Take a video of the way the
light is not functioning correctly & send it to Kingbrite, they should honor
their 5 year & will replace the entire fixture.

Since the driver is a Mean Well product and under warranty contact them
for an RMA # & send the power supply to TRC Electronics.
They are a Mean Well distributor / service center & can bench test it
and provide the warranty support.

The Customer Support is FANTASTIC. Here is the contact info:

"Thanks for taking my call and requesting for a quote!

We save engineers an average of 11 hours of power supply research time per project by helping select the best power supply solution for their system. In addition, we solve any power supply problem.

Call me 24/7 at my mobile (908)894-9039 or reach me in the office at 267-705-2280 for support!"

At worst you may have a backup power supply from Mean Well, &
hopefully a new light fixture from Kingbright.

Good luck!

AFAIK: menawell asks customer to return the driver to the supplier/distributor for under warranty service, I don't think you can return the driver for service dealing with meanwell directly yourself. One of the reasons to buy your driver local or at least in the right continent.

@Rocket Soul is correct!

I talked to Peter & he did confirm, that under fixture warranty is distributor support and beyond fixture warranty is Mean Well warranty support for diagnosis / repair & RMA. Sorry for posting bad info!
