take a magnifying glass and check the trichomes. if 30% of the resin glands are amber/brown then its done.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, i think i'll let her go for now and play it by ear, doubt i will let her go past 55, but I dont want to be cutting them too early, haha,... i guess if this one ends up with completely amber trics i guess it won't be a complete loss ;P
amber =degredation, don't buy into the amber myth. A little is ok but really mostly cloudy and even some clear is as far as you should run it. If you dont believe me ask the man himself. Sub is a good guy and always gives you a straight answer. Subcool...the weed nerd:)

if you pull early, you might miss out on your buds packing one the last of their weight in their final 3 wk stretch especially if you've been flushing correctly, you're leaves should start yellowing from your girls using up the rest of the chlorophyll to give out that last boost of flavor. it's essentially the 3week ripening sweetspot for bud according to my research.

If you want a "relaxing" strain, get one high in CBD. Letting the trichomes go amber is not a good way to achieve different highs. It is a good way not to maximize your strains potential.

When people wait for amber trichomes, they are doing it because it signals that the plant has maxed out its trichome production. They are after the milky stalked trichomes, not the amber ones. They are just used as an indicator.

Thanks for the tips everyone~ I ended up chopping her a few days after the post, she ended up yielding 32 grams, and was only 2ft tall at the most... not done curing yet, but i tried a sample and she was good :)

now that i got the microscope usage down, don't think ill have too many problems determining~

mines on day 60.. im running till day 65.. i think it depends on how long you want it to go, what colors you want to achieve and high.. as well as the plants size.

Sounds like you found a fast finishing Querkle simular to mine. It could be done the hairs look receeded and browned i think your good to go as long as the trics are showing what you like

whew, yea i went and found a picture of a baby querkle with no purple on it at all... seems possible :P If you read correctly, you would have seen that i said i owned a microscope, but had no idea how to use the fucking thing because it was always blurry... another member said touch the bud with it, and wah lah... dont even know why i am defending myself here.

on another note, 32 grams, solid little nuggies, no grape or purplish taste like my other big girls, but she is fire none the less.
