will have carbon filter going so should be smell proof on inspection it will be air tight also with good seals and all gaps and cracks sealed.

what would you guys do? throw a tarp over it??

“Stealthy” implies that it doesn’t looks suspicious. If I saw something like that, with a tarp over it, while hearing fans running inside of it, I’d be suspicious of what is in it. I’m sure it will be fine for growing in, I just don’t think it’s stealthy at all.
what if the fan is dead silent

ok what would u tell them it is? for a exuse
Where do you live? I couldn't imagine a landlord asking me what I have in a cabinet. If it isn't doing damage to the property, and isn't causing any issues, then they shouldn't care unless you are a pain in the ass tenant who causes them problems. I used to rent out a condo and I personally would have no issue with my tenants growing weed unless they were using HID lights (more of a fire hazard) or they were slobs and their grow was causing mold and/or mildew.

Get dumber friends? Sheesh ya can’t hide a grow cabinet in plain sight unless your friends are stoopid.

The only way you can convince people who ask is to show them, “what’s in the cabinet”, ahh well umm it’s a toilet block.

I have done exactly that before though. I even had an open home while I had 2 grow cabinets in the garage. About 50 people went through the house And garage I was renting. All of them saw the cabinets but I had locks on them so they couldn't open them. It was too obvious to question and I got away with it.

People you don’t know won’t ask questions, your friends and family will.

Something else I’ve done I just remembered was to hire a tail lift truck for the day. I loaded the cabinets on the truck and parked it on the street while I had an inspection Cost $120 for the truck but it was worth it!
very very smart idea bro!
i could get a van, rent for the day, put girls in the van, and then park it on the street for the day, or in back yard

Run a small air scrub in your place and shut the damn thing off if he shows up. No smell no noise no suprise. That’s what I would do. Get a ring door bell, do it before you answer. That’s all I got, I’m digging deep to my paranoid days when I use to stuff shit in the closest and think I was fooling people. Good times.. I can tell you a super nova coming from a cupboard in a house is not stealth, been there. The healthy house loud ass hepa filter is always good to drown out grow fans.. bro it’s just my hepa...

im going to mount the fan inside of the box, inside of another insulated box, and it is a silenced fan so three layers to get through plus it will be hanging from a bungee cord so even less vibration and im going to use insulated ducting and foam clamps.

it will be air tight and fully sealed except for out take duct and a intake hole which i will seal just before they arrive and the inspector only comes for 10 mins, it should hold the smell for ten mins with no fan or carbon filter running inside, so it wont have smell or sound..

maybe i could say its where i use a certain type of tool, like a welder or a type of furnace or something that emits toxic air and it gets sent through my filter and thats why its all done inside the box.... ahaha

Stealthy implies it blends with its surroundings. That would stand out to me but you can answer if it blends. If you're dealing with a landlord, part of staying under the radar is you can't be nervous or paranoid. That being said, you don't need an excuse. Tell him its your shit, inspect and get the fuck out.

depends on your landlord but you wouldn't trick me, lol. Many wouldn't have a clue. Don't put a visible lock on it. Figure a way to lock it from the inside(hidden switch or string), they will dismiss it as broken if they can't open it and move on. Hide the wires, and neatly put boxes all around it when the LL comes. Dont make it look like a hide job...throw some dust on it to look like its just shit sitting there. If People know your hiding something, they are more determined when there is a lock they can see....whats in that? Must be good! Let's open it?!. And get the air scrubbed, or they're gonna think your keeping a pet skunk, During flower. Good luck bro!
