Is it worth saving the oil my dry herb vape produces??

So I've been smoking out of a X- max pro V2 dry herb vape for a good why.....few years on this vape with a glass bubbler which usually I use dry.... After bout a week of burning bowls it will produce a clean oil instead of getting black as a regular pipe.... I'd say about half a gram of oil a week I've been washing out..... Should I figure a way to suck it out or would it be spent of thc already?? Just hard to get out of the glass tube..... Not worth breaking open the glass but what a waste to wash it away lol

Vaping below ~710F shouldn't produce the carcinogenic byproducts of pyrolysis that burning it does, so ostensibly the accumulated resin should be safe. Typically it will be decarboxylated and heavier in the higher boiling point constituents, as well as CBN, making them more sedative than uplifting.

Good to know it's still viable and I'm sure it would taste nice with mixed oil from different bud.... Just tricky to figure a way to get it out ...... It's so thick I have to heat it up to get it moving around..... If I get my honey out would it be good idea to use a empty vape cartridge or just dab it??

I usually harvest my vapor pipe by filling it with alcohol and setting it in a pan of boiling water and bringing it to a boil. The longer the material is there, the harder it is to dissolve and it is pretty non polar, so ISO works better than Ethanol for the purpose.

I pour off the alcohol, seal it in a jar and freeze it for a couple days. I then filter it and remove the alcohol to harvest the resin.

It will ostensibly work better in a dab pipe.

Yes the idea of alcohol did just come to me..... Just came up with a method thought might work.... To heat up the oil in the glass piece and add ISO and pour in a glass funnel stopped at the end with rubber.... heat up tube up gently with lighter til ISO burns off.... And why the freezing?? Also how would I filter??

The higher melting point materials left behind include plant waxes, fats, and lipids, so freezing and filtering through a coffee filter or vacuum filtering using a #1 lab filter removes them.
