Is it too late to Top or FIM? Also, Cloning question.

Hey guys,

Started my plant from seed (Chrystal strain) and was about 8 inches tall when i left for a Thailand vacation for a week and a half. Had my buddy water the plant for me once while I was gone and when I returned, the plant grew to about 30 inches or 2.5 feet! When i left, it had about 4 -5 nodes, which was a perfect time for topping or fimming, but now, its about 10-12 nodes still in vegetative stage.

Is it too late to top or fim now? See attached pics. BTW, i asked my buddy what the fuck he fed my plant and he just said he watered exactly as i instructed... sounds kinda sketchy to me...

Also, just curious why 1 of my 4 clones didn't make it. (See pic) I did everything exactly the same (this fucked up one being the 3rd one i cloned in the group) and it just never made it... any ideas? would like to know for future references.

You can top it now if you want. I wouldn't see why it would be a problem. If you top it just let it veg a little longer if you plan on putting it into flower. Let it heal and let those tops get growing. As far as the clones, a number of things could have gone wrong, cant save em all. Good luck
