Is it time to harvest?

I'm growing a white widow strain and she's going into the 9th week of flowering. The seed bank I got the seeds from suggested I harvest at the end of the 8th week. In the past, I always used a 70-75% red pistol indicator to determine when it was time to harvest, and this baby is all white pistols with maybe 35% of the pistols turning red. After having read this website for weeks, I've learned to look at the trichromes. The question I have for this group is...

Do I flush now, go with water for a week and harvest, or do I continue with nutes through the 9th week, flush, and go with water for the 10th week and harvest at the end of the 10th week? I was reading a thread about using the advantages of going water with the last week and darkness for 72 hours prior to harvest and am going to follow that guidance. What I need know is help in determining if I start the flush / water now or wait a week. I've attached pics and hopefully you all will be able to see the trichromes. The plant just appears to me that it needs another week or two before harvest. In looking through a microscope the trichromes appear to be some clear, some white, and I can't see any amber.

Knowing I'm not an expert, I've come here for some guidance.

too hary, too many of them are pure white too. i say feed once more next week and flush for 1 or 2 more weeks.

are you gonna get a scope?

Dude, those are fucking beautiful. Like, really, really good job. I'd say by the looks of them, they could benefit from another 2 weeks.

Now THAT is Bud Porn! Beautiful ladies otter. IMO, I would start the flush now and check in a week.You could decide then on whether to harvest or wait another week.But that's just me.

I'm going to have to get a better scope. The POS I bought at Radio Shack gives me a damn headache everytime I look through it.

So your really only around six weeks in.And that makes sense with everyones supposition that you need 2-3 weeks.

If she showed sex around Sept 17 your 6 weeks into flower. Beautiful plant!!!

Yes but flowering actually should be counted from when it shows not when the light cycle changes .That's a misnomer with most folks

Thank all. You guys gave me my 'ah-ha' moment, on my flowering cycle. I started the clock at the 12/12 shift and not at the time of actual flowering. Thanks 46and2.

Yeah Otter do that, a smoke report would be nice,because that is a very nice plant and if you wait the appropiate time I think your gonna be very very happy
