is it possible to plant in ground after dog poop?

Is there anyway to fix my soil so I can plant in ground next year? My dog pooped - a lot - I was sick, it didn't get picked up and then it flooded. I'm on top of my shit now (haha pun intended), but really want to do in ground next year. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.:peace:

It is all cleaned up now, has been for a while, I am just worried about the bad bacteria, worms or whatever may come from the dog poop. All shit is not the same...should I add anything to the soil? I sprayed with nematodes, will that do the job?

I wouldn't worry too much about your soil for next year, considering the rains of winter will thoroughly wash everything. From my understanding, poop is biodegradeable...lol...So I think most of it wil be re-incorporated into the earth and if anything just help enrich the soil for next year. You're probably good, bro, I wouldn't worry about it too much, but what a funny subject for a thread!

Besides, if you're growing in ground, unless you have primo soil you're gonna wanna dig big holes and backfill with premium soil anyway...It's no biggie bro, you're cool...

Kinda shitty...lol...I guess I am just paranoid. I put all my veg in 5 gal pickle buckets I snagged from work. Except my cucumbers are in an 18 gal storage container. My 3 girls are in 15 gal smart pots, though!
Thanks for the advice guys - From this lady to you! hehehe

Hey, I'm a chef, I have 5 gallon pickle buckets coming out my ears, just didn't wanna use 'em cause they're white and I didn't feel like wrapping buckets to make them light protected...lol...But I'm using way bigger pots...started in party cups, moved em to 2.5 gallon pots, and then into big ol 45 and 30 gallon pots, and 6 in the ground in holes that were 2.5 feet across x 3 feet deep...I have shitty light exposure on my plot, so it might be overkill, but I wanted to give 'em a fighting chance, ya know? Sorry about the bro thing...ya know, bra?

I have been watching your thread...looking great! Overkill isn't a bad thing, what is the saying? An ounce of prevention...
Anyway, thanks for helping to shine the light on a shitty situation from this Bra to you, Bro. LOL

Aaaarg....enough with the poop puns!! ;) But really, no prob...lol...better to be a little too paranoid about your grow as opposed to letting the shit hit the fan, so to speak...
