Is it possible to harvest a plant from seed in 12 weeks?

i want to start a stealth closest grow and i have twelve weeks of free electricity, and i'm in a apartment and my lease is up in the first week of may and i want to start a grow and get a good yield, i want to know if its possible to do so...

my light setup is 10-26w CFL 6500K for the veg stage

flower stage i will be using a 400 watt HPS

I would def say yes. Just veg for 4 weeks then switch to 12/12 flower for if the time comes near and the trics are not yet mature (check 2 weeks before due date) then switch lights to 8/16 then they will mature quicker (10 days).

i hope this really works, i will have 3 or 4 plants and i hope i get a couple ounces out of them

If you're not paying for the electric, veg under the HPS. In fact, use a combination of HPS and CFL for both stages.

how can u veg for 4 weeks when it will take at least 2 weeks from seeds to sprout to seedling?

Start from the beggining once they sprout. 24/0 This what I am reffering to....

I did they same thing with these babies. They are in there first week of flowering pistals everywhere...

my first grow was a seed on 10-5-08 and I harvested on 1-7, so right around 12 weeks
4 for veg and 8 for flowering

these ones I just started on the 1-13 and didnt all break ground till 1-15 and I just put one into flowering because it had lots of preflowers and looks like a lady

So yes as long as you get an indica dominate strain you will have no problems finishing from seed in 12 weeks

now that shit looks like straight kill right there...

i'm prolly going to make a journal bout a 12 week old harvest...

get auto flowering strains. Auto ak47 10 weeks from seed and you could get about 1-2 ounces a plant if grown properly.

When buying seeds, get a strain indica strain that finishes in about 7-9 weeks. Then veg the seedlings until you have 8-10 weeks left [give yourself one week to dry!].

lowryder 2 x ak47 about 1 nd a half ounces from 20 on 4 off lighting for 9 weeks from seed

I had a question when you switch to 12/12 daylite hours should you switch it straight over or gradually turn it there day by day.

like a couple others have said, the best way to accomplish your mission is to use an autoflowering strain. there are lowryder strains that are said to go from seed to harvest in 60 days (2 months) and are autoflowering. i've yet to grow a strain like this, but for my next grow im seriously considering it.
