Is it a must to use coco specific nutes?

Hi guys im new here
I've 4 seeds germinating and I've built a grow room and got some coco-perlite
This is my first grow and i decided to go coco
But the prob is when i walk through a garden store and ask for coco nutrients the store guy is like whaaaat?
So dont suggest canna foxfarm or other stuff no way i could get them
Currently i have 20-20-20 NPK soluble nutrient and a calimag+N(22.5%cal 3%mag 15%Nitrogen)
So what im gonna do is use that 20-20-20 and calimag 10times less so it would be 3.5-2-2 NPK and 2.2%cal 0.3%mag
Is it good for veg?( I'll get some PK for flowering)
Does it make sense at all?
These are not coco specific nutrients but I've heard i can use them no problem

I would keep an eye on PH. I Dont see why you wouldnt be able to use them.
Some people use 20-20-20 and get great results. You have a calmag supplement so it sounds like youve done your homework on coco I would follow the ornamental dosage when you start feeding. I would say go for it. Peace

Some ppl told me that I won't get any good results coz these nutrients are not made for coco
Thats why i confused
Just fixed the title btw

like arleady mentioned: only worries for coco is ca+ mg deficiency.but with the calmag suppltement you should be fine.
coco specific nutes already have the right amount ca, mg in it. thats the difference.

And how many times should i feed them with cal-mag?(and foliar or root feed?)
According to my nutes can u pls give me a schedule?

root feeding.
i really don't have a schedule. i read my plants.once in 2 weeks is sufficient mostly,but that again is with organic fert.

I heard that cal-mag should be used every 2 weeks
Well what im gonna do is to use that 20-20-20 10 times less and cal-mag once a week
Then raise the amount or 20-20-20 every week for reach half strength

You have to kind of treat it like hydro almost. I know people who feed lightly every watering. or you can try a feed, water, water, feed etc.... I also have done feed, feed, water. That's were you gotta kinda feel em out and see what they like. Your gonna want to feed a little more Then once every 2 weeks with synthetic nutrients.
