Is homegirl looking okay?

Sup y’all. So it’s been a good two years since my first ever grow and am trying to do another. My first grow went perfect and barely came into Any problems (and I had 3). But this grow I’m only doing one (blue dreams feminized), And feel like something looks off. Maybe not tho idk. I used the paper towel method like I did last time, waited till there was a decent tail coming from it, then planted into presoaked medium (fox farm happy frog), then left in 6 hours of darkness before the lights cut on to start 18/6. Lights cut on at 6:30 am and the seed popped out by the time they cut off at 12:30 am. I put Saran Wrap as a humidity dome till popped out. Now I’m thinking I should leave it off and just let it get some light? Is the way that she’s growing looking weird at all? It’s not really straight up. It’s only been 42 hours since planted but I feel like my leaves were showing this time, on my first grow. And how long To wait before trying to remove the shell, don’t want the leaves to die in there. Also the temp and humidity are controlled. I think I’m just overthinking it but idk..

Your leaves are under your shell. It will need to be removed if it doesn’t come off on its own. Mine is usually off by the time it comes through the dirt. Bury a little deeper next time.

Yea I didn’t plant too deep ngl. It looks like it’s splitting pretty good. Almost in two half’s. I might try and carefully separate over time and not all at once. I’ve seen people that wet it with a q-tip to try and soften the shell. Should I try this or just leave it alone for a little (until tomorrow), and let it do it’s thing

when it gets about an inch taller it’ll get easier to pull off. Just don’t pull straight up
Got ya. But at the same time it looks like it’s growing to the side and not really straight up like it should be. Just give it time? Like I said above^ I don’t want to wait too long and have the leaves die on the inside

I had one do this on me last grow, I'd say give it a little time before trying to pull it off. Don't dome it, just keep slightly damp.for awhile longer. Then ever so gently just try to nudge it off with a pin or small knife and it should just fall off. Don't pull at it. Good luck!

Got ya. I’ll try and soak it some little by little by touching it with a soaked q-tip and maybe try and separate it tomorrow if it’s ready
