Is going mini worth it? Opinions needed & welcome!

I currently have 2- 6 footers. Needless to say they are producing big amounts.
They smell up the whole bottom floor, and you can catch a whiff on the main floor every now and then. It's not a problem now, but I am going to start 3 new seeds in about 2 weeks, and I want more stealth. My wife and I have big families, and it's getting harder and harder keeping people from randomly stopping over.
I do have options though. I could use my 5'x30"x5' grow tent and vent the whole room outside. Or, I can go more stealth.
Anyway, I want to copy someone's double stacked Rubbermaid grow, but
I can't find any numbers on final harvest weights.

Is it worth doing a mini grow, using 2 stacked Rubbermaid tubs (large ones)?
Do the numbers add up enough, or do most people do it because they have no other options for stealthiness?

I would rather not have to close off a whole room in my basement anymore, but I want 6+ ounces every 2.5 months.

What do you think?

My best bet would be to do some serious Lsting for higher quality nugs not sure if im correct tho so by all means someone re-correct me if im wrong

how you train wont decide the quality necessarily but an even canopy w uniform size nugs is a good thing in a lot of ways

Why not use a carbon scrubber inside the tent attached to a fan exhausting outside of the tent? Smell gone

I have the same problem my moms side of the family is always just stopping over along with other random stoppers my grow is way to big for a tent too. I ended up carbon scrubbing in three different places so the smell can't make it past the basement stairs. It still does though but it's not in your face smell anymore its more just a green smell rather than skunky. I can live with that.

ive seen some people do some pretty amazing yields in tents though like above said prol some training would do great.

Sweet! Thanks peeps. I currently have a 1000w hid (from the 80's) going on the 6 footers. But, I have 10, 42w (200w equivalent) cfls with work light reflectors as well.

Ultimately, I want to have 2 grow set ups. One veg, one flower. 1 tub, and 2 tubs respectively.

Does anyone know of any numbers (oz's)of harvest from a decent mini grow of 3 plants with cfl's?
If I can get (appx)2 ounces off each 2' plant in a mini grow easily, I'm doing it. (I can scrog if I need to, to get to that number.)

Has anyone here pulled 2+ oz's per plant from a scrog mini grow?

I seen a bunch of grows in the double rubbermaid in the last several years. I've seen ppl get as little as 2 ozs but there's ppl who get over a pound. If you stick around for a month my first grow will be done in a doublestacked.

I'm interested in seeing what you do with it. I would recommend getting some krylon fusion spray paint and paint the inside all black then cover that with white. It was a pain to get all the light leaks with the aluminum tape.

My first personal setup ended up being way too big for my wife and I too. We dont smoke very much so all the trimming and routine maintenance was just too time consuming. I just downsized from a 3000 watt w/ 200sqft of space and 18 plants to a tiny 40x48x36" plywood cab with 4 ladies and a 400 watt cooltube. I'll be subbed for this one.
