Is flowing 6" from Cree 3590 bonkers if still cool?

Hey guys, two of my candy kush's upper leaves have been pointed upwards and they also happen to be the chunkiest & shortest of the 3 strains I'm currently running. I've been keeping the canopies even via these mini milk crates with holes (I'm using smart pots). I bumped this one up another increment and now she's the tallest by about 3" and sets about 6" from the light. Temps are cool and there is another fan outside of this shot also blowing across the canopy in addition to a third on the opposite of the tent. If I hold my hand under the light just above this cola for 30 seconds, warmth is barely detectable..

Is this safe or just stupid? I want to give them as much light as possible without pushing my luck.

If temps are okay and part of the plant is receiving too much light you will end up bleaching the plant material white. It doesn't seem to hurt the plant much so if it happen just back the lamp off a bit.

Sounds good man. I'll keep a close eye on it for any lightening.
